Vamu Annam


1.Rice cooked 1 cup
2.Ghee 2 tbsp
4.Vaamu 2 tbsp
5.Green chillies 2 tbsp
6.Curry leaves
7.Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
8.Dried red chillies 5
9.Coconut grated 1/2 cup
10.Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
11.Hing 1/2 tbsp
12.Lemon juice 1 tbsp
13.Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
14.Salt to taste
15.Cashew nuts


1.Take a pan pour some oil,ghee and heat it,add in hing,garlic cloves,dried red chillies,vaamu,cashew nuts and saute till light brown colour.
2.Add curry leaves,turmeric powder,green chillies saute for few seconds,add salt,cooked rice and mix well evenly.
3.Mix well without forming lumps,add lemon juice,grated coconut and give it a stir.
4.Finally sprinkle some coriander leaves and serve hot.
