Methi Paneer Kofta Curry


1.Paneer grated 1 cup
2.Fenugreek leaves 1/2 cup
3.Potatoes boiled 1
4.Maida 1 tbsp
5.Corn flour 1 tbsp
6.Onion paste 1/2 cup
7.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
8.Red chilli powder
9.Salt to taste
10.Coriander leaves
11.Cumin powder 1/2 tbsp
12.Tomato chopped 1
13.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
14.Green chillies 2
15.Oil for deep frying
16.Lemon juice 1 tbsp


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a bowl add in potatoes boiled,grated paneer,maida,corn flour,salt,lemon juice and mix well all the ingredients evenly.
3.Prepare round balls with the mixture and keep aside.Slowly drop the balls in hot oil and deep fry till golden brown colour.
4.Meanwhile take another pan pour some oil and heat it,add ginger garlic paste.green chillies,fenugreek leaves and fry for few minutes.
5.Add onion paste and mix well,fry until raw smell goes off.Add salt to taste,red chilli powder,tomato chopped and mix well.Cook till tomatoes are soft.
6.Add coriander powder and mix well.add required amount of water and bring it to boil.Cook until gravy attains thick consistency.
7.Sprinkle some cumin powder,coriander leaves and give it a fine stir.Add fried kofthas to the pan,mix it well.Serve hot.
