Tella Vankaaya Masala Kura


1.Brinjal 1/4 kilo
2.Onion chopped 4
3.Green chillies 4
4.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
5.Red chilli powder
6.Salt to taste
7.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
8.Turmeric powder a pinch
9.Coriander powder  tbsp
10.Sesame seeds powder 2 tbsp
11.Oil 3 tbsp
12.Coriander leaves
13.Curry leaves


1.Cut and slit brinjals into 2 halves,meanwhile blend onions,green chillies,cumin seeds,salt into a smooth paste.
2.Transfer the ground paste into a bowl,stuff the mixture into brinjals and keep aside in a separate plate.
3.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add ginger garlic paste,curry leaves and saute for few minutes.
4.Add stuffed brinjals to the pan,cover and cook till tender.Saute in between and cook well.
5.Now add remaining ground masala paste to the pan,add in salt to taste,red chilli powder,turmeric,coriander powder and mix well.Add some water as required to cook brinjals.Cover and cook for few minutes.
6.Add sesame seeds powder to the pan,cover and cook till done.Transfer into a bowl,serve hot.
