Chikkudu Pakoda Curry


1.Chikkudukaya sliced 1 cup
2.Besan flour 1/2 cup
3.Salt to taste
4.Red chilli powder
5.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
6.Onion chopped 1
7.Green chillies 3
8.Turmeric powder a pinch
9.Tomatoes chopped 2
10.Oil for deep frying
11.Coriander leaves
12.Cumin powder 1 tbsp


1.Take a bowl add in chikkudukaya,besan flour,salt to taste,red chilli powder,ginger garlic paste and mix well with water,prepare pakodi batter.
2.Meanwhile heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
3.Slowly drop the mixture in hot oil and deep fry,keep turning the pakodas in between and fry evenly,after done transfer into a separate plate.
4.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it,add onions,green chillies,ginger garlic paste and saute.
5.Add salt to taste,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,tomatoes and mix well.Cook till soft and tender.
6.Add fried pakodas to the pan,sprinkle some cumin powder and mix well.Add some water as required and cook for few minutes.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
