Jamakaya Kofta Curry


1.Jamakayalu 2
2.Capsicum 1
3.Tomatoes 2 chopped
4.Besan flour 1 tbsp
5.Wheat flour 1/2 cup
6.Fenugreek leaves
7.Jamaaku 1
8.Banana 1
9.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
10.Cumin powder 1 tbsp
11.Hing a pinch
12.Turmeric powder a pinch
13.Salt to taste
14.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
15.Red chilli powder
16.Coriander leaves
17.Oil 3 tbsp


1.Take a bowl add in wheat flour,besan flour,red chilli powder,salt,coriander leaves,jamaaku,banana and mix well.
2.Prepare round balls from the mixture and deep fry till golden brown colour and transfer into a plate.
3.In the same pan add cumin seeds,jamakaya pieces boiled,capsicum,tomatoes and saute for few minutes till soft and tender.
4.Cover and cook for few minutes,add red chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder,sugar a pinch,turmeric powder and fried kofthas to the pan.Mix well.
5.Add some water as required,cover and cook for 5 minutes.Finally add pinch of hing and give it a good stir.Transfer into a bowl and serve hot.
