Gongura Pulihora

Gongura Pulihora


1.Rice 1 cup
2.Gongura paste 1/2 cup
3.Green chillies 3
4.Dried red chillies 2
5.Curry leaves
6.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
7.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
8.Hing a pinch
9.Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tbsp
10.Salt to taste
11.Oil 2 tbsp


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add in dried red chillies,tempering seeds,fenugreek seeds,hing,curry leaves,green chillies and saute for few minutes.
2.Add turmeric powder,gongura paste and mix well.Fry for few minutes.Add salt to taste and give it a mix.
3.Finally add cooked rice to the pan and give it a good mix,transfer into a plate and serve hot.
