Ravva Kobbari Burelu


1.Godhuma ravva 1 cup
2.Coconut grated 1/2 cup
3.Urad flour 1 cup
4.Salt a pinch
5.Jaggery grated 1 cup
6.Cardamom powder 1 tbsp
7.Oil for deep frying


1.Take a pan pour some ghee and melt it,add soaked godhuma ravva and fry for few minutes.
2.In the same pan add coconut grated,milk and mix well evenly.
3.Add jaggery,cardamom powder and mix well till jaggery melts,till it attains thick consistency.
4.Meanwhile heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
5.Now take a pan add urad flour,salt and mix well with water,prepare a thick batter.
6.Remove the ravva mixture from heat and rest aside to cool down the mixture.
7.Prepare round balls from the mixture and keep aside in a separate plate,now dip the balls in urad batter and drop them in hot oil,deep fry.
8.Keep turning the balls in between and cook evenly,serve hot.
