1.Urad dal 2 cups soaked and grinded
2.Jaggery grated 1 cup
3.Pepper powder 1 tbsp
4.Oil for deep frying
5.Salt to taste


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take another pan add jaggery grated,pepper powder and some water,prepare jaggery syrup.
3.Keep stirring the jaggery syrup.
4.Now take a plastic cover apply some oil and prepare small vadas with urad dal mixture.
5.Slowly drop them in hot oil and deep fry till light golden colour.Transfer the fried vadas into jaggery syrup and soak for few minutes.Transfer onto a plate and serve hot.
