Aratidhuta Vadalu


1.Aratidhuta grated 1 cup
2.Chana dal 1 cup
3.Urad dal 1/2 cup
4.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
5.Rice flour 2 tbsp
6.Onion chopped 1
7.Green chillies 2
8.Ginger small piece
9.Pudina leaves
10.Coriander leaves
11.Curry leaves
12.Salt to taste
13.Oil for deep frying


1.Firstly grind soaked chana dal,urad dal,ginger,green chillies,cumin seeds into coarse paste.
2.Take a deep bowl add ground paste,aratudhuta,pudina,onions,curry leaves,rice flour,cumin seeds,salt and mix well all the ingredients.
3.Meanwhile heat sufficient oil for deep frying,grease a plastic cover and  prepare vadas,slowly drop the vadas in hot oil and deep fry.
4.Fry evenly on both sides till golden brown colour.Serve hot.
