Paneer Mushroom Curry

Paneer Mushroom Curry


1.Paneer 1 cup
2.Mushrooms 1 cup
3.Onion chopped 1
4.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
5.Salt to taste
6.Red chilli powder
7.Coconut slices
8.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
9.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
10.Tomato puree 1/2 cup
11.Green chillies 2
12.Curry leaves
13.Ghee 2 tbsp
14.Coriander leaves
15.Cashew nuts 10 grams
16.Oil 2 tbsp


1.Take a pan pour some ghee and melt it,add cashew nuts and fry for few minutes and transfer into a bowl.
2.In the same pan add paneer cubes and saute till light golden colour,transfer into a bowl.
3.In the same add some more oil and heat it,add tempering seeds,green chillies,curry leaves,onions,ginger garlic paste and saute.
4.Add tomato puree,cashew nut paste (coconut,cashewnuts) turmeric powder,red chilli powder,salt and fry for few minutes.
5.Add mushrooms,paneer and give it a good stir,add some water as required for gravy consistency and bring it to boil.
6.Cover and cook for few minutes till mixture releases oil,sprinkle some garam masala powder,coriander leaves and mix well.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with fried cashew nuts.Serve hot.
