Kandula Kofta Curry


1.Kandulu 1 cup
2.Onion paste 1/2 cup
3.Tomato puree 1 cup
4.Fresh cream 1/4 cup
5.Paneer grated 1/2 cup
6.Green chillies 2
7.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
8.Salt to taste
9.Red chilli powder
10.Turmeric powder
11.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
12.Dry mango powder 1 tbsp
13.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
14.Oil for deep frying


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a deep bowl add kandulu paste,paneer grated,dry mango powder,green chillies,salt and mix well all the ingredients and prepare round balls.
3.Gently drop the balls in hot oil and deep fry till nice golden colour and crisp.
4.Meanwhile take another pan pour some oil and heat it,add onion paste and saute.
5.Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric,coriander powder and mix well,fry for few minutes.
6.Add tomato puree,red chilli powder and saute,add some water as required and mix it well.
7.Add some salt,malai(fresh cream),garam masala powder and mix well evenly.Finally add koftha balls,cover and cook for 2 minutes till done.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with fresh cream.Serve hot.
