Methi Jeera Rice


1.Basmati rice 1 cup
2.Fenugreek leaves 1 cup
3.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
4.Green chillies 4
5.Chana dal 1 tbsp
6.Urad dal 1 tbsp
7.Salt to taste
8.Oil 2 tbsp
9.Dry Mango powder 1 tbsp


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add chana dal,urad dal and saute till light golden colour.
2.Add cumin seeds,green chillies,fenugreek leaves and fry for few minutes till raw smell goes off.
3.Add salt to taste,cooked basmati rice and mix well evenly,fry for few minutes till all masalas coat well the rice.
4.Finally sprinkle some dry mango powder and give it a stir.Transfer into a plate and serve hot.
