Chilakada Dumpala Kesari


1.Sweet potatoes 1/4 kilo
2.Condensed milk 1 cup
3.Milk 1 cup
4.Bombay ravva 1/2 cup
5.Ghee 4 tbsp
6.Dry fruits 20 grams
7.Vanilla essence 4 drops
8.Pista as required
9.Saffron strands a pinch
10.Food colour a pinch


1.Take a pan pour some ghee and melt it,fry dry fruits for few minutes and transfer into a bowl.
2.In the same pan add bombay ravva and saute for few minutes till light brown colour and transfer into a bowl.
3.In the same pan add some ghee and melt it,add sweet potato paste and fry for few minutes.
4.Add fried bombay ravva and give it a good mix,add some milk as required and bring it to boil.
condensed milk and cook until it attains thick consistency,add some
ghee,vanilla essence,food colour and mix it well.Transfer into a bowl
and garnish with fried cashew nuts.Serve hot.
