Carrot Pakodi Curry


1.Carrot grated 1 cup
2.Besan flour 1/4 cup
3.Salt to taste
4.Red chilli powder
5.Cumin powder 1/2 tbsp
6.Onion chopped 1
7.Green chillies 4
8.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
9.Tomato puree 1 cup
10.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
11.Fennel powder 1/2 tbsp
12.Oil for deep frying
13.Coriander leaves


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
a bowl add carrot grated,besan flour,cumin powder,fennel powder,salt to
taste,red chilli powder and mix well all the ingredients with water and
prepare pakodi mixture.
3.Slowly drop them in hot oil like pakodas and deep fry.
4.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it,add onions,green chillies,ginger garlic paste and saute for few minutes
5.Add salt,red chilli powder,tomato paste and saute till raw smell goes off and mixture attains thick consistency.
add fried carrot pakodas,coriander powder and some water.Cook for few
minutes and transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves.Serve
