Guntur Tomato Pachadi


1.Tomatoes diced 1/2 kilo
2.Tamarind 50 grams
3.Red chilli powder 100 grams
4.Salt to taste 100 grams
5.Garlic cloves 50 grams
6.Fenugreek powder 25 grams
7.Oil 2 tbsp
8.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
9.Dried red chillies 3
10.Curry leaves


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add garlic cloves,tomatoes and saute for few minutes.
2.Cook until tomatoes are soft and tender.Switch of the flame and rest aside to cool down the mixture.
3.Take a blender add fried tomatoes,salt,red chilli powder,fenugreek powder and blend well into a coarse paste.
4.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it.Add dried red chillies,tempering seeds,curry leaves an saute for few minutes.Finally pour tempering mixture on top of chutney and mix well.
