Dosakaya Halwa


1.Dosakaya grated 1 cup
2.Sugar 1/2 cup
3.Ghee 3 tbsp
4.Cardamom powder
5.Cashew nut 10 grams
6.Kismis 10 grams
7.Food colour


1.Take a pan pour some ghee and melt it,add dosakaya grated and fry for few minutes.
2.Meanwhile take another pan,pour some ghee and fry cashews,kismis till nice golden colour.
3.Add sugar and mix well,cook until sugar melts evenly.In between add some ghee and keep stirring.
4.Add food colour and mix it well,cook until it attains thick consistency,switch off the flame and sprinkle some cardamom powder.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with fried dry fruits.Serve hot.
