Semiya Beetroot Burfi


1.Beetroot grated 1 cup
2.Semiya 1 cup
3.Sugar 1 cup
4.Ghee 1/4 cup
5.Cardamom powder 1/2 tbsp
6.Badam 10 grams


1.Take a pan and melt some ghee,add semiya and fry for few minutes till it turns into light brown colour.
2.In the same pan add some more ghee and melt it,add grated beetroot and remove excess water.
3.Saute for few minutes,add fried semiya to the pan.Add some water as required to boil the semiya,cook for few minutes till it becomes into thick consistency.
4.Add sugar,cardamom powder and mix well till sugar melts evenly.Cook on medium flame for few minutes till it becomes thick.Transfer the mixture onto a greased ghee plate and rest aside to cooldown and cut into desired shapes.
