Kanda Upma Kura


1.Boiled Kanda 1 cup
2.Cashew nuts
3.Peanuts 2 tbsp
4.Onion chopped 1
5.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
6.Oil 2 tbsp
7.Ghee 1 tbsp
8.Turmeric powder a pinch
9.Coriander leaves
10.Curry leaves
11.Salt to taste
12.Ginger small piece
13.Green chillies 5
14.Garlic cloves 5


1.Take a pan pour some ghee,oil and heat it,add tempering seeds,curry leaves,peanuts,cashew nuts,onions and saute for few minutes.
2.Add ginger green chilli paste and saute for few minutes.Add salt,boiled kanda and mix well.
3.Now mash kanda with help of masher and cook for few minutes.
4.Transfer into a bowl and squeeze some lemon,sprinkle some coriander leaves and serve hot.
