Dosakaya Menthi Pulusu


1.Dosakaya pieces 2 cups
2.Fenugreek leaves 1/2 cup
3.Jaggery grated 1 tbsp
4.Rice flour 1 tbsp
5.Green chillies 3
6.Dried red chillies 2
7.Onion chopped 1
8.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
9.Garlic cloves 4
10.Coriander leaves
11.Salt to taste
12.Red chilli powder
13.Turmeric a pinch
14.Oil 1 tbsp
15.Tamarind juice


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add dried red chillies,garlic cloves,tempering seeds and saute for a minute.
2.Add onions,green chillies,fenugreek leaves and saute for another few minutes.
3.Add dosakaya pieces,turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder and fry for few minutes.
4.Add tamarind juice and stir well,add some water.Cover and boil for few minutes till tender.
5.Dissolve rice flour without any lumps,add to the boiling pan and mix well without forming any lumps.
6.Add jaggery grated,coriander leaves and give it a stir,transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
