Gongura Aava Pachadi


1.Gongura 2 bunches
2.Mustard powder 1/4 cup
3.Fenugreek powder 1 tbsp
4.Red chilli powder 100 grams
6.Dried red chillies 2
7.Garlic cloves 5
8.Curry leaves
9.Salt to taste
10.Oil 1/2 cup
11.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
12.Hing a pinch


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add gongura leaves,cover and cook on medium flame till leaves are tender.
2.Switch off the flame,add tamarind,mustard powder,fenugreek powder,red chilli powder and blend into a smooth paste by adding garlic,salt.
3.Heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds,pinch of hing and add ground paste,saute for a minute.Serve immediately with hot rice.
