1.Aratikaya 1 chopped boiled in water with salt
2.Spinach chopped 1 cup
3.Onion chopped 1
4.Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
5.Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
6.Green chillies 3
7.Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
8.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
10.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
11.Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
12.Red chilli powder
13.Turmeric powder a pinch
14.Salt to taste
15.Oil 3 tbsp


1.Heat some oil in pan,add tempering seeds,ginger garlic chopped and fry for a minute.
2.Add onions and fry for another few minutes,add green chillies,turmeric and give it a mix.
3.Now add finely chopped spinach and cook till nice and tender.
4.Cover and cook for a minute,add salt,red chilli powder and give it a mix,finally add fried aratikaya pieces to the pan and cook for few minutes.
5.Finally add coriander powder (dry roast coriander seeds,sesame seeds,cumin seeds,cloves) and mix well evenly.Switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves,serve hot.
