1.Raw mango pieces 1 cup
2.Cashew nuts fried 1/2 cup
3.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
4.Dried red chillies 10
5.Coriander seeds 2 tbsp
6.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
7.Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tbsp
8.Garlic cloves 10
9.Tamarind pulp
10.Salt to taste
11.Turmeric powder
12.Curry leaves
13.Oil 1/4 cup


1.Heat some oil in a pan and add dried red chillies,coriander,fenugreek seeds and fry for few minutes.
2.Rest aside to cool down and blend into a smooth powder,add garlic,cumin seeds and blend once again.
3.Add tamarind pulp,turmeric powder and give it a pulse.Finally add raw mango pieces and blend well.
4.Add fried cashew nut and blend once again into a smooth paste paste,transfer into a bowl.Meanwhile heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds,dried red chillies,garlic,curry leaves and saute for a minute.
5.Pour tempering on ground chutney and garnish with cashew nut and dried red chillies.Serve with hot rice.
