Dondakaya Pakodi Curry

Dondakaya Pakodi Curry


1.Dondakaya chopped 1 cup
2.Onion chopped 1
3.Besan flour 1/2 cup
4.Rice flour 1 tbsp
5.Green chillies chopped 3
6.Sesame seeds paste 1/2 cup
7.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
8.Salt to taste
9.Red chilli powder
10.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
11.Curry leaves
12.Coriander leaves
13.Oil for deep frying


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a deep bowl add dondakayalu,besan flour,rice flour,onions,green chillies,curry leaves,salt,red chilli powder and mix well with water and prepare pakodi batter.
3.Gently drop them in hot oil like pakodas and deep fry till nice golden colour.
4.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it,add onions and fry for a minute.
5.Add green chillies,ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes off.
6.Add salt,red chilli powder and mix well,add roasted sesame seeds paste and mix well,stir continuously without sticking to the bottom of pan
7.Add some water as required and bring it to boil,now add fried pakodas an coriander powder,give it a good stir.Finally transfer into a bowl and serve hot with garnished coriander leaves.
