1.Mango pulp 1 cup
2.Jaggery 1 cup
3.Maida 1 cup
4.Dry coconut powder 2 tbsp
5.Cardamom powder
6.Ghee 1/2 cup


1.Prepare jaggery syrup by adding jaggery,some water and mix well.Keep stirring until it attains thick consistency syrup.
2.Add mango pulp,dry coconut powder and mix well.Cook on medium flame.
3.Sprinkle some cardamom powder and give it a stir,cook for few minutes till mixture attains thick dough consistency.
4.Prepare a smooth dough by adding maida,oil and water.
5.Divide the dough into balls and prepare small puris,stuff the mango mixture and wrap around the edges and pinch tightly.
6.Heat a skillet by drizzling some ghee and place the bobbattu,cook on both sides evenly till brown spots appear on both sides.Serve hot.
