Senaga Pappu Chinta Chiguru


1.Chana dal 1 cup soaked and boiled
2.Chintha chiguru 1 cup
3.Onions chopped 2
4.Tomato chopped 1
5.Green chillies 3
6.Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
7.Turmeric powder a pinch
8.Salt to taste
9.Red chilli powder
10.Coriander powder 1/2 tbsp
12.Curry leaves
13.Oil 2 tbsp


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add onions and saute for a minute,add green chillies,ginger garlic paste,curry leaves,tomatoes and mix well for few minutes till tomatoes are soft and tender.
2.Add salt,red chilli powder,turmeric powder and stir fry for a minute.
3.Add chana dal,chintha chiguru crush with your palms and mix well,Add some water as required.
4.Cover and cook for 2 minutes,sprinkle some coriander powder and give it a good stir.Switch off the flame and transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
