Leafy Dal Curry


1.Soaked chana dal 1 cup
2.Gangavayila koora 1 cup
3.Spinach 1 cup
4.Green peas boiled 1/2 cup
5.Carrot grated 1/2 cup
6.Green chillies 3
7.Coriander leaves
8.Oil 2 tbsp
9.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
10.Mustard seeds
11.Curry leaves
12.Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
13.Salt to taste
14.Red chilli powder
15.Turmeric powder


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add cumin,mustard seeds,garlic chopped,green chillies and saute for few minutes.
2.Add green peas,cover and cook for a minute,add leafy veggies and fry for few minutes.
3.Add turmeric powder,chana dal and mix well,fry for few minutes.
4.Add some water,salt and cook for another few minutes.Add red chilli powder,cover and cook till tender.Sprinkle some carrot and mix well,cook for a minute,Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
