Alasandala Pesarapappu Kura


1.Alasandalu 1 cup boiled
2.Moong dal 1/2 cup boiled
3.Salt to taste
4.Green chillies 3
5.Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
6.Mustard seeds 1/2 tbsp
7.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
8.Coconut grated 1/2 cup
9.Curry leaves
10.Turmeric powder a pinch
11.Oil 2 tbsp
12.Lemon juice 1 tbsp
13.Coriander leaves


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add mustard,cumin and saute,add ginger,green chillies,curry leaves and fry for a minute.
2.Add turmeric powder,salt and alasandalu and mix well.Cook for a minute.
3.Add moong dal,coconut grated and mix well,cook for another few minutes.
4.Add lemon juice and give it a good stir.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
