Samosa(Baby Corn )


1.Baby corn 1/4 kilo
2.Salt to taste
3.Red chilli powder
4.Coriander powder 1/2 tbsp
5.Oil 1/2 liter
6.Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
7.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
8.Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
9.Maida 1 cup
10.Dalda 2 tbsp
11.Vaamu 1 tbsp


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add cumin seeds,ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.
2.Add baby corn and fry for few minutes,add turmeric powder,coriander powder,red chilli powder and mix well,cook for a minute and switch off the flame.
3.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
4.Prepare a smooth dough by adding maida,dalda,vaamu,salt and mix well with water.
5.Divide the dough into small equal portions and roll them into thin layered chapathis by dusting some dry flour.
6.Cut into 2 halfs and stuff the baby corn mixture,grease the edges with some water and pat the edges firmly.
7.Drop them in hot oil and deep fry till nice golden colour and serve hot.
