Telangana Government’s measures for environment are good: Actor Jagapathi Babu

Hyderabad: Versatile actor Jagapathi Babu said that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao creating Green Fund as part of the Assembly sessions is a very good development. He said the Green Fund would create an opportunity for everyone to increase and grow green cover as their responsibility.

Jagapathi Babu participated in the film Simbaa, the Forestman shooting at Dhulapally Forest Academy. The film is made with a tag line that let us allow the plant that allows us to live, to live. Jagapathi Babu is portraying the character of a Forest officer and the film is based on the forests and environment protection.

Actor Jagapathi Babu along with Director Sampath Nandi, other unit members, participated in the Green India Challenge Programme of MP J Santosh Kumar and planted saplings. Jagapathi Babu said that the steps taken and measures initiated by the Telangana government to protect and preserve nature are very good and the Green India Challenge programme launched by MP Santosh Kumar is instilling confidence on the matter in everyone.

He said he felt happy that all sections of people have become partners in Green India Challenge programme launched by MP Santosh Kumar. Forest Academy Director PV Rajarao, Director Sampath Nandi, producers Rajender Reddy, director Murali Manohar Reddy, young Hero Srinath Maganti, heroine Divi vadthya, anti Hero Kabir Duhan Singh, film unit have planted the saplings as part of the Green India Challenge programme.

Earlier, Forest Academy Director Rajarao welcomed MP J. Santosh Kumar who is visiting the Academy for the first time. Rajarao explained the specialty of the Academy. He said that the best training is imparted at the Academy for those who were selected for the Forest Service from Telangana and other states. MP Santosh Kumar also planted saplings along with the Academy staff and workers.
