TMREIS takes up Telanganaku Haritha Haram Drive

A. K. Khan, IPS (Retd.), Advisor to Government of Telangana on Minorities Affairs and President TMREIS inaugurated the Telanganaku Haritha Haram programme on Saturday at Medchal. B. Shafiullah, IFS., Secretary, TMREIS and other officials participated in the programme.
 
As part of the programme, the plantation of saplings was taken up at 204 TMR schools and Junior Colleges across the state.
Addressing the students and staff, A. K. Khan said that there is no other programme as noble as planting of trees to increase greenery in the State. Every town, city and rural areas have taken up the initiative of Hon’ble Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao Garu and Haritha Haram will soon turn out to be a blessing in the future, he added.

B Shafiullah, IFS said that Haritha Haram will ensure a safe environment for our future generations. He said that the initiative taken by the TMREI Society has to continue in future and students also to carry it forward and spread the awareness.
