CM KCR appoints Banda Srinivas as SC Corporation Chairman

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has appointed Banda Srinivas as Chairman of Telangana State Scheduled Castes Development Corporation Limited. The government has issued orders to this effect.

Banda Srinivas, a resident of Huzurabad in Karimnagar district,  belongs to  SC (Madiga) community. He has been active in social activities since his student days as a leader.  He served in various capacities in the Congress party and served as the Karimnagar district Secretary of the Congress party's student wing.

He excelled as a hockey player and worked as the President of Huzurabad Hockey Club and now he is working as the vice president of Karimnagar district Hockey Club.

He also served as the Director of the Huzurabad Agricultural Market Committee and as a member of the District Telecom Board. He was elected twice as MPTC from Huzurabad Town.  

He joined the TRS party, which was started by CM KCR in 2001 and actively participated in the Telangana statehood movement under the able guidance of CM KCR. He rendered his services in various capacities to the TRS party, as president of Huzurabad Mandal, District Secretary and State Joint Secretary. Srinivas responded to every call given CM KCR and participated actively in the party programmes and government welfare programmes.
