BJP leaders accused of causing panic on IndiGo Flight with emergency exit opening
On December 10, an IndiGo flight from Chennai to Trivandrum in Tamil Nadu was allegedly delayed by 3 hours after two BJP leaders, MP Tejasvi Surya and Tamil Nadu BJP state president Annamalai, opened the emergency door of the plane, causing panic among passengers. The DGCA has not yet released an official statement on the incident, but an IndiGo official stated that they are investigating the matter. Tamil Nadu Excise Minister Senthil Balaji accused Surya and Annamalai of being responsible for the incident in a tweet on December 29. The flight was 6E-7339.
