TDP criticises the AP CM Jagan for not attending the WEF meeting
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has criticized Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, for not representing the state at the World Economic Forum (WEF) conference in Davos. Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, a TDP politburo member, has called for an explanation from the Chief Minister as to why Andhra Pradesh was not represented at the prestigious international summit.
Bonda Uma said that, while Telangana's Industries and Information Technology Minister K.T. Rama Rao is bringing significant investments to his state, Jagan Mohan Reddy lacks the vision and ability to attract investments and create jobs for the youth. The TDP politburo member claims that Andhra Pradesh was a focus of investor interest during the Chandrababu Naidu administration, and that Naidu made every effort to draw investors to the state by taking advantage of every available opportunity.
In addition to criticizing the Chief Minister for not attending the WEF conference, the TDP politburo member has also demanded that a white paper be produced detailing the number of industries established in the state over the previous four years and the number of jobs created.
