Sir (also known as Vaathi in Tamil), a Telugu-Tamil bilingual film directed by Venky Atluri and produced by S. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, will feature Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon in the lead roles. As promotional activities are underway, the producers have released the single "Banjara", sung by Anurag Kulkarni and composed by GV Prakash with lyrics by Suddala Ashok Teja.

The upbeat and rousing song, set in a rural setting, conveys deeper truths through simple metaphors. The film is set to hit theatres across India in both Telugu and Tamil on February 17, 2023.
