Telangana Governor Tamilisai reacts on Achampet pregnant woman incident

Nagarkurnool: Telanagana Governor Tamilisai Soundarrajan reacted to the Achampet Government hospital incident in which the doctors denied performing delivery citing the pregnant woman tested positive for Covid-19. It is said that the Red Cross members visited the residence of the victim Nimmala Lalamma and enquired about her health condition. They also extended financial assistance and some health products. Governor Tamilsai also called the victim's family members and enquired about her health condition.

She took to her Twitter and tweeted as "Thank Dr.Sivaram, Superintendent District Hospital, Nagarkurnool in #Telangana & Pediatrician for visiting Smt Nimmala Lalamma residence to know her health condition of #COVID19 positive delivery condition. Happy to know that both baby and mother are healthy."
