Actor Siddharth In trouble over tweet against Saina Nehwal

South actor Siddharth is being chastised for a tweet he sent in response to Saina Nehwal's post on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's security failure during his visit to Ferozepur, Punjab, on January 5. Many netizens and celebrities chastised the Tamil-Telugu actor for his 'demeaning' remarks.

In a further development, Chennai Police Commissioner Shankar Jiwal announced that actor Siddharth has been summoned in connection with his contentious Twitter post against Saina Nehwal. Siddharth was embroiled in a controversy after retweeting a message by Nehwal about PM Narendra Modi's security lapse.

Several people condemned Siddharth's remarks and demanded that he apologise to Nehwal. After getting backlash for his nasty remark about Saina Nehwal, the actor apologised to the badminton player.
