Kangana Ranaut calls PM Modi's security lapse in Punjab ‘shameful’

Kangana Ranaut, a Bollywood actress, has sharply responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's security violation in Punjab. After his convoy became stopped in a road blockage at Hussainiwala, Modi was unable to address a rally in Punjab on Wednesday. The security breach happened as the PM was driving from Bathinda to the National Martyrs Memorial in Hussainiwala.

Kangana condemned the incident on Instagram Stories, writing, "What occurred in Punjab is horrible, Honourable Prime Minister is democratically elected leader/representative/voice of 1.4 billion people, an assault on him is an attack on every single Indian... it is an attack on our democracy itself."
