AP government holds grand reception for CJI NV Ramana

The Andhra Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday, hosted a lavish reception for Chief Justice of India NV Ramana. JK Maheshwari, a Supreme Court judge and former chief justice of the Andhra Pradesh high court, as well as the chief justices of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, attended the high-tea event at the Indira Gandhi municipal stadium.

Several members of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's cabinet were also present. On behalf of the state government, YS Jagan felicitated Justice Ramana.

Justice Ramana will be the Chief Justice of India till August 2022. On Friday, Justice Ramana was honoured at his hometown of Ponnavaram, in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.
