CM Jagan speaks on 'Jagananna Vidya Deevena' third tranche- Highlights
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, distributed money as part of the third instalment of the 'Jagananna Vidya Deevena' of Rs 686 crore on Tuesday, credited directly into the accounts of 9,87,965 mothers of 11.03 lakh students pursuing higher education.
The chief minister stated on this occasion that education alone can remove poverty and empower the people. He claimed that the money is deposited straight to the mother's accounts so that they may better supervise the college amenities and pupils' well-being.
The chief minister stated that poverty should not be an impediment to education and stated that the government will provide fee reimbursement for everyone in the family.
