AP Govt files affidavit in HC over CRDA Act withdrawal

Andhra Pradesh's YSRCP administration has filed an affidavit in the State High Court seeking the repeal of the AP Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of All Regions Bill, 2020, as well as the revocation of the CRDA Act. On behalf of the State government, I V Sri Lakshmi, Special Chief Secretariat to Government, Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Secretariat, Velagapudi, Amaravati, has filed an affidavit. The High Court will decide a judgement based on the merits of the affidavit.
The High Court's division Bench, led by Chief Justice (CJ) Prashant Kumar Mishra and comprised of Justices M Satyanarayana Murthy and DVSS Somayajulu, is examining the set of writ petitions disputing the AP Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of All Regions Bill.
