Kundabaddalu @ Amaravathi farmers Mahapadayatra
'The Maha Padayatra,' a 45-day walkathon by farmers and other landowners from Amaravati's Thullur and Tadikonda Mandals, has reached Parchur of Prakasam district. Farmers sat on the road and chanted Jai Amaravathi slogans as the police stopped those who were supporting the farmers of Mahapadayatra. They have questioned the police for halting them despite the fact that they have followed all of the rules.
Senior Journalist Kundabaddalu Subba Rao has expressed his support for the Mahapadayatra, which has been ongoing for the past seven days. On behalf of K Ranganayakamma, one of his followers living in the United States, he contributed Rs 1 lakh to Amaravathi farmers in support of their protests.
'I am delighted to provide the donation from my hand to the agitation for the cause,' said the prominent journalist. He also chastised the police for disrupting the protest rally and questioned their use of drones without taking permission from the court.
