Pattabhi Ram shifted to Rajahmundry jail
TDP official spokesperson K Pattabhi Ram, who was arrested by Suryaraopet police in Vijayawada on Wednesday night for making alleged objectionable remarks against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, was remanded to custody for two weeks. In a recent medical check-up, he diagnosed with Covid-19.
Pattabhi is transferred from Machilipatnam sub-jail to Rajahmundry Central Jail. Meanwhile, the counsel for the TDP leader has filed a bail plea in the High Court. The petition will come up for hearing on Saturday. Pattabhi's family has alleged that he is facing a danger to his life.
