Chandrababu writes to President, PM urges to impose President rule in Andhra Pradesh
Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party national supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu wrote letters to President Ram Nath Kovind, PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah requesting to impose President's rule in Andhra Pradesh. He further requested them to order a CBI inquiry over the incident of vandalising TDP officers and attacking the leaders.
He mentioned in the letter that the present situation of widespread lawlessness constitutes is an apt case to impose Article 356 (President Rule). He requested a CBI inquiry to trace the conspiracy behind the attacks on TDP offices and mentioned that there is no law and order in the state. It is known that TDP headquarters in Mangalagiri were vandalised and TDP leader Pattabhi Ram was arrested on Tuesday.
