CM Jagan visits Sri Ganapati Sachidananda Swami ashram in Vijayawada, offers prayers
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited the Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda Swamy Ashram at Dattanagar, Padamata, Vijayawada, on Monday. After arriving at the temple, the chief minister first paid a visit to the Goddess Marakatha Rajarajeshwari and did special pujas. After then, he met Sachchidananda Swami. The Swamiji praised Jagan for his efforts to safeguard Hinduism and temples.
Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swami is said to have asked the Chief Minister to take efforts to safeguard Hindu temple grounds and not to disrupt the hereditary archaka system, which had been in place for a long time.
Endowments Minister Vellampalli Srinivas, MP V. Vijayasai Reddy, Ministers Perni Venkatramaiah Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy, and MLAs Malladi Vishnu and K Parthasarathy were present.
