Srikakulam: Sunrays directly touch Arasavalli deity, visuals
The devotees captured the rare moments at Arasavalli’s Lord Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple in Srikakulam on Friday after the sunrays directly touched the feet of the presiding deity. The rays fell on the Dwajasthambam through the gopuram of the temple and touched the Suryanarayana Swamy's feet.
The rays from sun will stay for not more than 8 minutes and the devotees expressed happiness after witnessing the rare event. It is known that the temple was built in such a manner that the rays in the early morning will fall on the feet of the temple deity twice a year, i.e., March and October.
