Nara Lokesh made mistake, not pardonable, alleges Vasireddy Padma
Vasireddy Padma, Chairperson of the Women's Commission, said that the state government is dedicated to bringing justice to the victims by enacting legislation. Speaking on the occasion, Vasireddy said that the government, led by Chief Minister YS Jagan, has approved the Disha law, which is in the process of becoming an Act. She has alluded to the numerous crimes committed against women in the state, as well as the state government's intention to punish the perpetrators via the Disha Act, if it is given legal legitimacy. She has slammed TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh for destroying the legal papers pertaining to the Disha Act. 'Nara Lokesh has made a big mistake by hurting the feelings of women seeking safety and justice and it is not pardonable,' said the Chairperson of the Andhra Pradesh State Women's Commission.
