Virat Kohli reaches a milestone in International cricket
While playing against England in the fourth test, Indian skipper Virat Kohli set a new record. He became the fastest batsman in international cricket history to achieve 23000 runs across all forms, passing Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting. Kohli achieved the milestone during the first session of the current fourth Test match against England at The Oval. Tendulkar is the second-fastest batsman to achieve 23000 runs, having done it in 522 innings, behind only by Ricky Ponting (544). Virat Kohli is ranked seventh among all-time leading scores in international cricket.
