Disposal of CBI cases against CM Jagan may take much longer, opines V V Lakshminarayana
In an interview, former CBI Joint Director V V Lakshminarayana has opined that disposal of CBI cases against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy may take longer time. He stated that arguments are still going on discharge petitions. “Cases can be disposed at the earliest if lawyers of the CBI and the petitioner are willing to do so,” he mentioned.
Lakshminarayana has also attributed to delay as there is no exclusive CBI court to hear Jagan cases. He further said that the petitioner may approach the High Court and Supreme Court if he wants reprieve from the CBI court.
