Shuttler PV Sindhu offers prayers at Tirumala
PV Sindhu, the Indian ace shuttler who ended her trip at the Tokyo Olympics with a bronze medal, visited Lord Venkateswara's holy shrine in Tirupati, the temple city. She arrived at Tirumala with her family members on Thursday night and visited the shrine today.
Speaking to the media, the badminton star said that she took a vow to visit the temple after the Olympics. To a question, Sindhu has stated that she will open a badminton academy in Visakhapatnam very soon. “My goal of establishing the academy is to inspire young people to take up badminton,” she mentioned.
