Mamata Banerjee dances, plays drum on World Tribal Day
Jhargram: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee participated in a special programme on the occasion of International Tribal Day here on Monday. CM dancing with tribal women to the beats of drums has grabbed the attention of netizens. She also played the Dhamsa, a traditional instrument which produces bass sound.
Later, Mamata has honoured several eminent tribal personalities. Addressing the gathering, the CM asked the Central government to enact a new law to protect the rights of tribal people across the nation. She claimed that her government’s schemes are supporting all sections of the society.
